Whether you're just getting started with a new platform or looking to sharpen skills you already have, the KAUST IT Training Academy is here to help. Our sessions are hands-on, jargon-free, and built around the tools and systems you actually use at KAUST. No prior experience needed.

How registration works

Who Can Join

Sessions are open to everyone at KAUST: staff, faculty, and students. Some sessions are tailored to specific roles or teams depending on the topic, so check the session description before booking.

Certificates

Certificates are offered for some sessions depending on the type of training and who delivers it. This includes sessions run by external vendors or certified programs offered through the IT Training Academy. Check the session details to see what applies.

A Few Ground Rules

We want every session to be a good experience for everyone. Here's what we ask:

  • Be respectful: everyone is at a different level, and that's completely fine
  • Get involved: ask questions, try things out, and help keep the energy up
  • Share openly: if you have a question, someone else probably does too
  • Use good judgment: keep session materials within KAUST and use systems in line with existing policies
  • Support each other: if you can help a colleague out, go for it
  • Sessions are for learning, not a substitute for IT support. We'll always point you in the right direction.

Take It Back With You

One of the best things you can do after a session is share what you've learned. You don't need to be an expert, just a colleague who picked up something useful and passed it on.

Whether it's a shortcut that saves time, a feature most people don't know about, or just telling someone that a session exists, that kind of word-of-mouth is how a whole community levels up together.
