What to Expect and How We Work Together

The KAUST IT Training Academy offers practical, hands-on sessions designed to help the KAUST community get more out of the digital tools and services they use every day.

Sessions are built to be approachable, useful, and directly relevant to your work, whether you are supporting administrative processes, research, or academic activities.

What You Can Expect

  • Practical, hands-on training sessions
  • Guidance on commonly used tools and platforms at KAUST
  • Time to ask questions and work through real examples
  • Helpful resources to take away after the session where available

Who Can Join

Sessions are open to the KAUST community. Some sessions may be tailored to specific groups depending on the topic.

Participation is optional and intended to support your day-to-day work and development.

A Few Simple Guidelines

Be Easy to Work With

  • Be kind and professional in discussions
  • Respect different levels of experience and perspectives

Show Up and Take Part

  • Join in, ask questions, and try things out
  • Help keep the session focused so everyone benefits

Use Good Judgment

  • Do not share restricted materials without approval
  • Use KAUST systems in line with existing policies

Help Each Other Out

  • Support others when you can
  • Ask questions openly, chances are others have the same one

A Few Expectations

  • Training content is for learning purposes and should not be shared externally without approval
  • Sessions are not a replacement for support requests, but we will point you in the right direction
  • Sessions may be updated or adjusted over time to improve the experience
