Reset Your KAUST Password

If you have forgotten your password or would like to change it, follow the steps below.

Forgot Your Password?

You can reset it online using the self-service portal:
https://mypassword.kaust.edu.sa

How to reset your password:

  1. Open mypassword.kaust.edu.sa in your browser.
  2. Enter your KAUST Username and Recovery Email Address (your personal email).
  3. You will receive a reset link in your personal email inbox.
  4. Click the link, enter a new password, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: Your recovery email must match the one registered on the KAUST Portal. If you are unsure, please contact the IT Service Desk using the IT Chatbot.

Want to Change Your Password?

We recommend updating your password at least once a year to help protect your account.

How to change your password:

  1. Go to the KAUST Portal and sign in.
  2. Click on the "Change Password" tile.
  3. This will launch the Password Self-Service page.
  4. Enter your current and new passwords, then click "Start Process".
  5. You will receive a confirmation email within 5 minutes.
