Reset Your KAUST Password

Getting locked out is frustrating. This page gets you back in as quickly as possible.

Alumni
If you are an alumnus or alumna and need to reset your email password, please follow the Alumni Email Password Reset instructions.

Reset or change your password

Reset your password online at mypassword.kaust.edu.sa.

Enter your KAUST username and your recovery email address (your personal email).

You will receive a reset link in your personal email inbox.

Click the link, set a new password, then follow the on-screen steps.
Recovery email must match
Your recovery email must match what is registered in the KAUST Portal. If you are not sure which email is on file, contact the IT Service Desk via VITA (IT Chatbot).

If you can sign in and want to update your password, do it from the KAUST Portal.

Go to the KAUST Portal and sign in.

Select the Change Password tile.

The Password Self-Service page will open.

Enter your current password and new password, then select Start Process.

You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes.
