Reset Your KAUST Password

Getting locked out happens, and it’s frustrating. This page is here to get you back in as quickly as possible.

Forgot Your Password?

You can reset your password online using: mypassword.kaust.edu.sa

How to reset your password

  1. Open mypassword.kaust.edu.sa.
  2. Enter your KAUST username and your recovery email address (your personal email).
  3. You will receive a reset link in your personal email inbox.
  4. Click the link, set a new password, then follow the on-screen steps.
Important note about the recovery email
Your recovery email must match what is registered in the KAUST Portal. If you are not sure which email is on file, contact the IT Service Desk via VITA (IT Chatbot).

Want to Change Your Password?

If you can sign in and simply want to update your password, you can do that from the KAUST Portal.

How to change your password

  1. Go to the KAUST Portal and sign in.
  2. Select the Change Password tile.
  3. The Password Self-Service page will open.
  4. Enter your current password and new password, then select Start Process.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes.
