KAUST IT is reminding all members of the KAUST community using Apple devices to upgrade to macOS Sequoia 15, the latest version supported at KAUST. This update ensures continued security, performance, and compatibility, as older versions such as Ventura are now out of support.
Cisco Secure Client: A New Look for KAUST VPN
Starting 29 September 2025, the Cisco AnyConnect VPN will automatically upgrade to the new Cisco Secure Client. The way you connect remains the same, but we recommend updating before you travel and testing your connection.

Reminder to upgrade to Windows 11 before Windows 10 support ends
Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After this date, Windows 10 devices will no longer receive security updates or may not connect securely to the KAUST network.

A scheduled change will take place at 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, to enhance security and permissions between KAUST’s Microsoft 365 environment and Formstack. After this update, some forms with OneDrive file upload integrations may require re-authentication or reconnection. This guide explains how to verify, reconnect, and test your OneDrive integration to ensure forms continue accepting uploads without interruption.
