Setting Up KAUST Email

KAUST provides email services as part of its integrated communication platform, which includes calendar, directory, and contact management. Access is granted automatically during onboarding for most members of the KAUST community and can be used across web, desktop, and mobile devices.

The email platform depends on your role at KAUST:

Accounts are created automatically during onboarding. Additional or temporary accounts can be requested through the KAUST Connect Account Request Form.

Accessing KAUST Email

Via Web Browser:

On KAUST-managed devices:
If you're using a KAUST-issued device connected to the KAUST domain, Outlook will configure automatically. Just sign in with your KAUST credentials.

Setting Up Email on Mobile Devices

To configure KAUST email on a phone or tablet:

  • Download the Microsoft Outlook or Gmail app
  • Open the app and enter your KAUST email address
  • Enter your KAUST Connect password
  • Approve the login with DUO if prompted

No manual server configuration is needed for standard access.

Who to Contact for Email Setup Help

  • Staff, CWF, Consultants, and Postdocs: Contact your department administrator or the IT Service Desk if your credentials are missing.
  • Students: Reach out to your Academic Advisor or the Registrar’s Office.
  • Service Providers and Visitors: Submit a KAUST Connect Account Request to request or renew access.

Email Limits and Guidelines

Passwords can be created or reset anytime via the KAUST Password Reset Portal.
