KAUST Alumni Email Access and Password Reset

Your KAUST alumni email lives in Microsoft 365. This page shows you how to sign in and how to reset your password.

Your alumni email address

Your name stays the same and only the domain changes, so your address is firstname.lastname@alumni.kaust.edu.sa.

Sign in to your email

  1. Go to outlook.office.com.
  2. Enter your full alumni email address, for example omar.alharbi@alumni.kaust.edu.sa.
  3. Enter your password.

You can also add your alumni email to Outlook or the mail app on your phone. Add it as a Microsoft or Exchange account using your full alumni address.

Reset your password

  1. Go to outlook.office.com and enter your alumni email address, then select Next.
  2. On the password screen, select Forgot my password.
  3. Enter your email address again and complete the verification check.
  4. Choose to verify by your recovery email address, then enter the code you receive.
  5. Set a new password and sign in with it.

No recovery email on file?

Password reset needs a recovery email address you can still open. If you cannot receive the code, call the IT Service Desk on +966 12 808 0910. A phone call is the one route that works when you are locked out, because opening a ticket, whether through VITA or the IT Service Center, needs you to sign in first.

Still using an old @kaust.edu.sa address?

Alumni email has moved from Gmail to Microsoft 365, and alumni addresses now end in @alumni.kaust.edu.sa. If you still have an old address, or you are not sure which one is yours, contact KAUST IT and we will check your account.
