Dear KAUST Community,

On 16 June 2025, a phishing email was sent to several KAUST members and some external partners. The message originated from turki@edamasolutions.com with the subject line:
“[EXTERNAL] Turki Almadani shared ‘edamasolutions’ with you.”

This phishing attempt was identified by the KAUST Information Security department. Working jointly with Information Technology, we have immediately implemented preventative measures to contain the threat and limit potential impact. This included blocking access to the malicious link and resetting passwords for affected accounts.

• What You Should Do:
  If you clicked the link in the email, we strongly recommend resetting your KAUST password immediately by visiting mypassword.kaust.edu.sa.
• If you’re unsure whether you interacted with the link, we advise resetting your password as a precaution.
