| Impact | Office desk phones and residential home phones will be upgraded during this time. You may experience a temporary outage lasting approximately 10 to 15 minutes as the upgrade is completed in phases.
There will be no impact to ongoing calls, physical phone devices, or Webex services. |
| Action Required | You can continue using your office phone through the KAUST Softphone (Cisco Webex), even during the upgrade. Alternatively, please use your mobile phone if needed.
When calling KAUST numbers from a mobile phone, remember to dial 012 before the number. For example, contact the IT Help Desk at 012-808-0910 instead of 910 or 808-0910. Please do not disconnect or power off your phone during the upgrade, as this may cause issues and require manual support. |
