King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) maintains a full annual site license for Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (Esri) software for most Esri products including desktop software such as ArcGIS Desktop and Pro Advanced, as well as web-based applications such as ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. None of the products can be used for any profit-making or commercial purposes.
In addition to software, KAUST students/faculty/staff can take free Esri courses online to learn about GIS and how to use Esri's GIS software products through Esri e-learning. You need to have a KAUST ArcGIS Online (AGOL) Account. Once logged in, students have access to courses that are labeled as "Free" or "Requires Maintenance" in the main Esri Academy course catalog.
