SnapGene offers the fastest and easiest way to plan, visualize, and document your molecular biology procedures. The streamlined interface supports a range of cloning and PCR manipulations.

There are various types of licensing options. Kindly note that Snapgene software licenses are subscription based. Kindly visit https://www.snapgene.com/pricing/, choose the best suitable license required, and order it.

At KAUST, we don’t have this software as site licenses; the software management team does not purchase these licenses and distributes them. Users are recommended to use the department credit card to make the purchase for the referred software license or subscription if the total cost of the licenses is less than $2000 USD or create a PR and contact procurement@kaust.edu.sa for more information. 

If your department doesn't have a KAUST credit card, you can request a virtual credit card from the finance team or use personal credit cards to make purchases and submit a claim to finance for reimbursement of costs.

NOTE: Such purchases, however, need the approval of your Business Manager.
