Cisco Vidcast is a video messaging and presentation platform that allows you to record, share, and organize short videos without scheduling a live meeting.

Vidcast helps people communicate more clearly using video, screen sharing, presentations, transcripts, summaries, and asynchronous collaboration.

At KAUST: Vidcast can help reduce unnecessary meetings while making updates, walkthroughs, and training materials easier to access and revisit.

AI-Generated Vidcasts

Vidcast can automatically create narrated videos from PowerPoint presentations and PDF documents.

  2. Upload a PowerPoint presentation or PDF
  3. Vidcast generates:
    • AI narration
    • Presentation scripts
    • Slide timing
    • Highlights and summaries
    • A complete draft video

You can review and modify the generated script, choose different AI voices, adjust tone and narration style, preview the final result, and then share or export the completed video.

Important: Always review AI-generated content before publishing to ensure accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness.
