Hybrid learning combines traditional face-to-face teaching with additional offline and online techniques, like experiential learning and digital course delivery for the ambitious students of today's generation.
Our goal is to provide the perfect blend of learning techniques to effectively impart knowledge and meet the learning needs of students through different mediums. Technology has made this possible. Hybrid teaching in building 9 started in January 2021. Our classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate both peer-to-teacher classes and online teaching. Our classes include large projection systems, tracking cameras, interactive whiteboards, an instruction station equipped with USB-C and HDMI connections, document cameras, dedicated video conferencing and an intuitive AV Control Panel.
We met with Professor David Ketcheson, Associate Professor in Mathematics and Computational Science, to hear about his experience using these cutting-edge technologies in his classrooms for teaching.
