Planned KAUST systems maintenance notification

As part of our commitment to maintaining and improving the performance and reliability of KAUST systems, SAP and its hosting partners carry out regular planned maintenance on the platforms that support several University services. This page lists the known maintenance windows that may affect KAUST systems.

These activities are scheduled and managed by the vendor. KAUST IT coordinates closely with them to understand the impact and to plan around these windows wherever possible, but the exact timing is outside of our direct control.

All maintenance windows are scheduled late at night or early in the morning, outside normal business and academic operating hours. During these times, affected systems may experience intermittent slowness or brief interruptions. If a system does not respond as expected, we recommend waiting 5 to 10 minutes, then trying again.

What you need to do

• Save your work and log out of any affected systems before the scheduled maintenance window begins, wherever possible.
• Avoid starting new tasks or transactions shortly before the start time listed below.
• Plan ahead for any work that may be impacted by the maintenance schedule.
