As part of our commitment to system performance and reliability, SAP and its hosting partners carry out regular planned maintenance on the platforms that support several KAUST services. This page lists all known maintenance windows that may affect your access.

These activities are scheduled and managed by SAP. KAUST IT coordinates closely with the vendor to minimize disruption, but exact timing is outside our direct control. All windows are scheduled late at night or early in the morning, outside normal business and academic hours.

If a system does not respond during a maintenance window, wait 5 to 10 minutes and try again.

What you need to do

  • Save your work and log out of any affected systems before the scheduled window begins, wherever possible.
  • Avoid starting new tasks or transactions shortly before a maintenance window begins.
  • Plan ahead for any work that may be affected by the windows listed below.
