IT is excited to offer a deep dive into the various technologies available to support the goals of the Academic & Research community! The event will be Wednesday 16 June 2021 starting at 1PM.

In this workshop, you will learn the optimal use of data transfer technologies with practical exercises. This workshop will be a combination of lecture and practical. IT has been working on expanding its capabilities by introducing several technologies that will help our scientists connect.

This workshop will cover topics around choosing the best options for your transfer, leveraging and using the available technologies, and optimizing your experience for the best possible performance. Attendees will also get a chance to meet other people who might be facing challenges and enlist our core IT team's assistance to discuss options.

We will discuss the ScienceDMZ, DataWaha, advanced scientific workstations in both on-demand virtual and the physical variety. In addition, we will cover topics around choosing the best options for your data transfers, leveraging and using the available technologies, and optimizing your experience for the best possible performance.
