Over the past few years, there has been a sustained shift in preference towards the use of streaming content services such as Netflix, Apple TV, and Shahid over traditional broadcast TV. In our diverse community, we appreciate that everybody looks to consume the content they are the most familiar, on the device of their choice, at the times that suit them best.  

It is in this context that IT will decommission the KAUST provided television service as of December 31, 2021. After this date, there will be no more content delivered to the Set Top Boxes or the K-IPTV application, and both platforms will no longer be supported by the IT Department.
