Planned Maintenance – Wireless Authentication Certificate Renewal and KAUST Systems Maintenance

Dear KAUST Community,

Please be advised of the following scheduled maintenance activities, which may temporarily impact access to specific services. Details and expected impacts are listed below:

Wireless Authentication Certificate Renewal

KAUST IT is renewing the authentication certificate for the KAUST Wi-Fi networks: iCampus, Uni-Fi, and eduroam. A prompt may appear on your device to accept the new certificate during or after the maintenance window.

Follow the instructions below to reconnect:


iPhone

  • Select the appropriate wireless network

  • Enter your KAUST login credentials

  • Tap Trust when prompted to accept the new certificate


macOS

  1. Select the appropriate wireless network

  2. Enter your KAUST login credentials

  3. Click Continue to accept the new certificate


Windows

  • Select the appropriate wireless network

  • Enter your KAUST login credentials

  • Accept the certificate when prompted


Android

  • No action is required

KAUST Systems Maintenance

Several KAUST systems will be temporarily unavailable due to planned maintenance. This includes:

  • HR Connect

  • Ariba (Finance and Procurement)

  • Government Affairs and Security services

  • Business Taxi Booking

  • Phone Billing

  • Data Center Work Permit Application

  • Food Request

  • Cost Distribution

  • Phone Request

  • IT Asset Management and Transfer

  • Business Case Application

  • Facility Invoice Management

What to do:

  • Save work and log out of affected systems in advance

  • Avoid starting new tasks or transactions near the maintenance window

  • Plan ahead for any critical activities that may be impacted
