Scheduled Maintenance: KAUST Visitors Management System (VMS) – July 29, 10:00 PM to July 30, 4:00 AM

KAUST Community,

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve system performance and reliability, KAUST IT will be performing scheduled maintenance on the Visitors Management System (VMS) during the window below:

Maintenance Window

  • Start: Tuesday, July 29 at 10:00 PM
  • End: Wednesday, July 30 at 4:00 AM
  • Duration: Up to 6 hours

What to Expect

The VMS will be unavailable during this time. Please follow the appropriate guidance below:

For KAUST Community Members (with KAUST ID):

  • Carry your physical KAUST ID if possible.
  • Alternatively, take a screenshot of your Digital ID from KAUST Central or access it directly at vms.kaust.edu.sa/DigitalID.
  • To reduce gate delays, residents are encouraged to remain on campus during this period unless travel is essential.

For Business and Personal Visitors:

  • New visitor requests (business or personal) cannot be submitted during the downtime.
  • Please submit all access requests no later than 7:00 PM on Monday, July 28.
  • For urgent visitor needs during the outage, email VisitorCenter@KAUST.EDU.SA.
  • The Security Team at the Visitor Office (Gate 1) will assist with manual entry procedures.
