The following activities are planned to keep KAUST IT’s services reliable, secure, and performing well. Both begin on Thursday, 30 July, and neither requires any action from you. Please review the details below.

| Duo Sign-In Interface Update | When Starting Thursday, 30 July 2026. The new interface will roll out in phases across KAUST platforms, systems, and applications. Impact The Duo sign-in screen is getting a cleaner, faster look. Duo Push becomes the default verification method, so most sign-ins will take one less click. Your registered devices stay the same, and you’ll continue approving sign-ins the same way. Action Required No action is required. You’ll simply see the new screen the next time Duo asks you to verify. Read more in the #InsideIT article. |
| Business Data Center Connectivity (Firewall Upgrade) | When Thursday, 30 July 2026, 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM Impact Systems hosted in the Business Data Center (Building 14 Data Center) may be intermittently unavailable during this window. Action Required No action is required. |
