We will apply security patches to the KAUST VPN service on Monday, 21 September 2026, to address security vulnerabilities.
No downtime is expected, and you should be able to continue working as normal throughout the maintenance window.

Impact
No interruption to the VPN service is expected.
Action required
No action is required. If you notice any VPN disconnections during the maintenance window, please wait until the maintenance is complete before trying again.
If you still have issues after 10:00 PM, you can report a VPN issue through the IT Service Center or contact the IT Service Desk.
Contact the IT Service Desk at 910 or 012-808-0910, seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Walk-in support is available Sunday to Thursday during business hours.
