The following maintenance activities are planned to keep KAUST IT’s services reliable and performing well. Please review the schedule and expected impacts below.

| KAUST Maps (ArcGIS) Upgrade | When Friday, 5 June 2026 Impact Map services related to KAUST Community Maps, including maps.kaust.edu.sa, will be unavailable during the upgrade window. Action Required Please plan any GIS-related activities outside the maintenance window where possible. |
| Departmental Data Drives (KAUSTFILES) | When Friday, 05 Jun 2026, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Impact KAUST Files storage services will be unavailable for up to 15 minutes during the maintenance window. Action Required Please save your work frequently and avoid critical file transfers before & during the maintenance window. |
| KAUST Portal Services (SAP Maintenance) | When Sunday, 7 June 2026 Impact SAP services may be unavailable during the maintenance window. Action Required For additional details regarding affected services, please refer to the related maintenance notice. |
| GitLab Security Patching | When Monday, 15 June 2026 Impact KAUST GitLab may be unavailable for approximately 5–10 minutes while security updates are applied. Action Required Please save your work and avoid performing critical GitLab activities during the maintenance window. |
