Installation & Quick Start Guide

Use this guide to get started with Webex Softphone at KAUST. You will find quick links to key topics below, followed by step-by-step instructions to download, install, and sign in.

Download & Install Webex

Step 1

If you are using a KAUST-issued computer, install Webex from the KAUST Software Center (Windows) or Self Service (macOS). If you are using a personal device, download Webex from the Webex downloads page.

Step 2

Download Webex for Windows or Mac. You can also scan the QR code from an iPhone, iPad, or Android device to download it from the Webex downloads page.

Step 3

Enter your work email address, then sign in using KAUST Single Sign-On with your KAUST username and password. Webex may prompt you to sign in again for the phone service. If you are off campus, you will be prompted for DUO two-factor authentication.

The application is ready to use. You can now place and receive calls, search the university directory, chat, and share files.
